Shows up every day.
Surfaces what’s really going on.
Routes support before outcomes are lost.

Navigator-led, AI-augmented participant support for workforce development.

“AI assists. Humans decide. Dignity is preserved.

Daily, not occasional.

Every weekday, a 2–3 minute micro-lesson builds durable professional habits and keeps participants engaged — on the phone they already carry.

Early, not too late.

Daily interactions and weekly reflections surface declining engagement and emerging barriers within days, not weeks — so staff can act while action still matters.

Human-decided, always.

AI analyzes and flags; navigators decide and act. No scoring, no surveillance, no automated decisions about people.

What Is Couragements?

Couragements is a navigator-led, AI-augmented participant support platform for workforce development. Two parts work together: TheDailyGrit, a daily micro-curriculum that keeps every participant engaged and building skills; and Support Pathways, an adaptive cycle that surfaces barriers — financial, transportation, childcare, health, readiness — and routes the right support before outcomes are lost. It’s built to help overloaded coaches and program staff respond early, at the speed real opportunity requires.

Daily skills development

TheDailyGrit delivers specialized curriculum series — professional foundations, financial wellness, career navigation, resilience, and more — 2–3 minutes a day, every weekday, and customizable to your program and audience. Curriculum can be assigned to your entire participant population, or be driven by barrier profile, and—where applicable—employer match.

RECEIVE
Every weekday, a text links to a 2–3 minute activity. Couragements fits the daily routine, wherever the day leads.

REVIEW
A short, purposeful micro-lesson from TheDailyGrit — built to turn challenges into next steps, not just motivation.

RESPOND
One quick reflection — a rating or a short answer — so the day’s lesson sticks and the platform learns what’s really going on.

RECALIBRATE
Navigators see patterns and emerging barriers; participants see only their own responses and next steps. Support is routed before a setback becomes a dropout.

Skilled Trades Success

The foundational series developed for pre-apprentices and first-year apprentices in IBEW, electrical, and other building trades. Non-technical barriers that cause dropout, addressed daily.

The weekly signal that SURFACES BARRIERS EARLY

A weekly structured reflection invites participants to flag where they’re stuck — at work, in class, or in life. Those signals give navigators an early, honest read on who needs attention, so support arrives while it still matters. Staff are notified of standout responses and emerging challenges, and can step in with one coordinated response rather than three disconnected referrals.

Twelve Support pathways. Eleven barrier domains. One coordinated response.

When a barrier surfaces, Couragements recommends a Support Pathway to further assess and address the barrier with relevant resources, informational and motivational content, and goal-setting exercises. Support Pathways guide the participant through a four-phase cycle — Assessment → Preparation → Action → Maintenance — calibrated to the barrier and customized for the participant. Eleven general pathways span the obstacles that derail people, and place-based pathways can be built for a specific site or employer. Cross-pathway activation means a participant facing a job search, a transportation gap, and a childcare challenge gets one coordinated response — not three disconnected referrals.

Pathway domains:

Economic & Work Stability

  • Financial & Housing
  • Seeking Employment
  • Workplace Issues

Family & Logistics

  • Transportation
  • Childcare
  • Parenting

Health, Support & Habits

  • Healthcare Access
  • Well-Being
  • Support System
  • Unwanted Habits

Education & Digital Capability

  • Education & Digital Literacy
  • Custom place-based pathways

Built on a Cardinal Rule:

AI never contacts participants directly—ever

AI never makes decisions about participants.

No scoring or ranking of individuals.

No surveillance or productivity monitoring.

No employer data sharing without explicit consent.

All participant content pre-approved at 8th-grade reading level.
